Migration

Blue breeze, salty as the sea
upon which it swiftly sweeps
is already breathing on me,
caressing gently, every curve
as I lay lifelessly at its feet.

And these humble waves
breaking on the reef
gently spray upon me
to cool the sun’s kiss
marking my tender flesh.

Let us indulge here
in these foreign sands
carry on with this affair
carelessly, all week
until it turns to memory.
